ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — Disneyland Resort in Anaheim closed Tiana’s Bayou Adventure after a 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle and slid down the attraction’s final drop, sending the boy to a local hospital for precautionary evaluation before he was released.

Disneyland officials said cast members stopped the ride after the boy got out of the vehicle. The park kept the attraction closed for the rest of the day.

The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health inspected the ride after the incident. Cal/OSHA spokesperson Katherine Wzorek told NBC News inspectors “did not find any operational issues.”

Disneyland later reopened the attraction after the inspection, according to the company and the state agency’s findings.
